Former track champion to give the command for biggest event in Vermont dirt racing history

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The Interstate All Battery Center Vermont 200 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway just got a little bigger. Legendary dirt track Modified stock car driver “Super” C.D. Coville has been named the Grand Marshal of the event and will deliver the most famous words in motorsports: “Drivers, start your engines.”

Barre, VT – Thunder Road officials have announced the full schedule of events for the 56th Vermont Milk Bowl Weekend presented by Northfield Savings Bank. The 3-day event from Friday, September 28 through Sunday, September 30 is expected to be one of the biggest in Milk Bowl history, with eight divisions featuring the best local and touring racers in the Northeast. Valley Floors night at Bear Ridge Speedway was an action packed evening with lots of great racing, ending with a field filled endure that had the fans on their feet.

It was new face in victory lane in the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds as Steven Flint took the lead away from Mike Ryan on lap 28 and went on to score his first win. Richie Simmons and Jordan Fornwalt didn’t have enough to set a hard challenge on Flint. Ryan Christian and Mike Ryan completed the top five.

Whittemore, Hull celebrate championships

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – A big holiday crowd packed the grandstands at Devil’s Bowl Speedway to see Justin Comes and Adam Pierson take top honors at The Stove Depot Labor Day Special on Sunday, September 2. Other race winners included Paolo Pascarella, Chris Murray, Mike Preston, and rookie John McPhee Jr., and come-from-behind championship titles were wrapped up by Brian Whittemore and Will Hull.
