Scarborough, Roberts Winners on Hot Night at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
Murray, Shepard, Chaves continue dominance
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The dirt track racing action was as white-hot as the weather at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, August 5, and a pair of Joeys – Joey Scarborough and Joey Roberts – topped the list of winners. Scarborough claimed his second NASCAR Whelen All-American Series win of the season on Friend Construction Night, Roberts took his third win, and other victors included Chris Murray, Kaleb Shepard, and Austin Chaves.

Additional Disqualification Announced Following Street Stock Teardown
Barre, VT – Thunder Road officials have announced that Berlin’s Scott Weston has been disqualified from the Street Stock Special held Sunday, August 5.
The decision comes following a lengthy teardown in post-race Street Stock technical inspection. Those involved in the teardown included the top finishers in the 50-lap Twin State Street Stock Series event plus several other drivers randomly selected by tech officials.

Barre, VT – South Burlington’s Trampas Demers scored a crucial blow in the latest round of the 2018 “King of the Road” prizefight by taking his second Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model win of the season on Thursday, August 2. The veteran made a breathtaking move just past the halfway mark to grab the top spot and eventually score the victory on WDEV Radio/Calkins Portable Toilets Night.

Enduro 200 Ready to Bring Thrills Again
Street Stocks Rev Up for Twin State Series Event
Barre, VT – This Sunday, August 5, the “People’s Race” returns to the high banks of Barre’s Thunder Road. The annual Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 is one of the most popular events every summer, giving amateur racers their yearly chance to tackle the legendary oval.
A hundred cars or more are once again expected for the $3,000-to-win, no-holds-barred affair that has launched many racing careers while giving others their shining moment of glory. The entire field will start 3-wide, creating a gridlock tougher to navigate than New York City rush-hour traffic.
