ACT Spring Green Returns to Open Devil’s Bowl Speedway’s 51st Season
Regional Late Model stars headed to Rutland County for May 7 opener
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway is ready to roar for its 51st season of stock car racing, and the schedule opens with the return of one of the year’s biggest and most important traditional events: The “Spring Green.” The sleek Late Model cars and the regional stars of the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) join the local favorites of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series for a pavement-pounding show on Sunday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m.

Billings Files First Official Demolition Derby Entry at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
“Rutland County Rumble” ready for May 13
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway is getting ready to make the ground shake, and Mark Billings Jr. is first in line. Billings has filed the first official Demolition Derby entry for the inaugural “Rutland County Rumble” on Saturday, May 13, and is ready to smash his way to a $1,000 payday.
The event will be a can’t-miss show, featuring the return of both the Demolition Derby and Truck & Tractor Pulls to Devil’s Bowl Speedway after many years away. The event begins at 12:00 noon with pulling in three truck classes and the popular Altered Farm Tractor class. The Demolition Derby is expected to begin at approximately 6:00 p.m. to cap off a fun day of action. The event has gained a ton of interest from across the region since being announced last month, and the phone has been ringing off the hook at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway office.

Excitement Building for King of Dirt Series Events at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
Vermont track will host all three KOD tours in 2017
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The buzz is getting louder around Devil’s Bowl Speedway for the new stock car racing season, and lots of attention is being centered on the King of Dirt Racing Series (KOD) coming to the Vermont facility. One of the fastest-growing dirt track racing organizations in the country, KOD begins its third season of competition in 2017 and its three exciting classes will each make their Devil’s Bowl debut during the year.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway “Facebook Live” Talk Show Keeping Off-Season Fun
“Let’s Talk Racing!” show has made over 330,000 Facebook impressions since December
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The winter months are usually not much fun for stock car racing fans in the Northeast, but Devil’s Bowl Speedway in snowy Vermont is changing that. A weekly live talk show called “Let’s Talk Racing!” – airing every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. on Facebook’s “Live” video platform – has kept fans and racers engaged in an upbeat, interactive program through positive use of social media.
Track promoter Mike Bruno and media director Justin St. Louis host the one-hour show on Devil’s Bowl Speedway’s official Facebook page. Since debuting on December 15, “Let’s Talk Racing!” has become a place to discuss news and information at the Rutland County facility, but the show has not been limited in its focus. The hosts have a list of topics, but viewers are encouraged to have an active part in the show by posting questions and comments during the broadcast. Several drivers have been guests, and a few episodes have been broadcast live on location from drivers’ race shops and garages. The planned guest for Thursday, March 9, is Lyle DeVore, promoter of Howard Commander’s famed Albany-Saratoga and Lebanon Valley Speedways in New York State.

Bear Ridge Speedway
Bear Ridge Speedway celebrating their 50th consecutive season of racing all under the same management is getting ready to offer their first glimpse of some of the machines to compete in 2017 at upcoming shows.
The first glimpse and meet and greet will be at our booth at the Frank Maratta Auto & Race-A-Rama Show March 10th-12th at the Big E in West Springfield Ma with a suite of racecars that will be competing in 2017 at the Ridge. Then for those of you to the north you can catch the famed #6 at the Hanover Home Life Expo in Hanover NH March 17th-19th where kids of all ages can get their picture taken in the race car. After that we will have a short break to be able to begin getting the track ready for opening night May 6th.

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The ground will shake in 2017 with a series of exciting, all-new motorsports events at Devil’s Bowl Speedway. The scenic Vermont facility has added a slate of new, high-adrenalin attractions for motorsports fans of all kinds, promising to bring a thrill to fans of all types of horsepower. While weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series-sanctioned stock car racing continues on the asphalt oval on Saturday nights and on the dirt oval on Sunday nights, the new events will offer a different style of heart-pounding action.
