TAKE TWO FOR PRO STOCK TOUR SEASON OPENER LUCAS OIL 150
(Halifax, NS, May 21, 2019) Race fans had to wait an extra week but the much anticipated Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Season Opener will take place this Saturday, May 25th at Petty International Raceway. The Lucas Oil 150 will mark race one of 12 for the popular touring series. Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races will set the field and get underway at 4:00 PM.
Joining the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour this Saturday at Petty International Raceway are the Passione Flooring & Interiors East Coast Mini Stock Tour, Street Stocks and A.E. McKay Builders Late Model Sportsman. Please note all opening classes on Saturday will run main features only.

LUCAS OIL 150 TO KICK-OFF 2019 SEASON AT PETTY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
(Halifax, NS, May 14, 2019) Race fans can finally get excited, the long off-season is over and the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is set to embark on its 19th season this Saturday! The Season Opener Lucas Oil 150 takes place this Saturday May 18th at Petty International Raceway, located just outside of Moncton in River Glade NB. The Lucas Oil 150 will mark round one of 12 for the popular touring series which will visit four Maritime markets this summer. Approximately 30 teams from across the Maritimes are expected for Saturday’s event. Atlantic Tiltload Heat Races will set the field and are slated to get underway at 4:00 PM.

JAMES RIVER, NS (March 27, 2019) – NASCAR personality Kenny Wallace will drive the ‘Cat Car for Kids’ in the 2019 edition of the IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis on July 20 at Riverside International Speedway when Wallace will attempt to become the first back-to-back champion of the event in its modern era.

JAMES RIVER, NS (March 12, 2019) – The Matt Minglewood Band will rock Riverside International Speedway on July 18 with a two-hour concert at the IWK 250 Tailgate Party. The east coast music legends will cap off an afternoon/early evening IWK 250 practice session to get fans primed for the legendary IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis on July 20.

(Halifax, NS – March 8, 2019) – The 2019 schedule will open on Sunday, May 19th with the traditional CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series Season Opener on Victoria Day Weekend. The season opener will include all five CARSTAR Weekly Racing Series divisions, including the headlining Sportsman division, the Strictly Hydraulics Legends, Toursec Thunder, Toursec Lightning and Bandolero divisions. The schedule will move to Friday nights from there with the first of which being Friday, May 24th. Each Friday night will see four of the five divisions taking to the race track to thrill stock car fans at the Halifax Regional Municipality’s only asphalt stock car oval.
