ACT Returns to Quebec This Weekend with Big Money Up for Grabs
Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) makes its second trip of the year to Quebec this Saturday, August 17 and Sunday, August 18. ACT is sanctioning events at both Vallée-Jct., QC’s Autodrome Chaudiere and Ste-Croix, QC’s Circuit Riverside Speedway as part of a weekend doubleheader with big prizes on the line.
(Halifax, NS, August 10th, 2019) – Cassius Clark (Farmington, ME) picked up his fifth Toromont Cat 250 victory tonight at Scotia Speedworld and remains the most decorated driver in the race’s 20 year history. In addition to winning $15,400, Clark also takes home the coveted Scott Fraser Memorial Cup. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) battled Clark all night but didn’t have enough to catch Clark when the checkers flew. Cole Butcher (Hantsport, NS) rounded out the podium with a third place finish. Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) had another solid run finishing fourth. Jarrett Butcher (Porter’s Lake, NS) made his way back to a fifth place finish after an early tangle with elder brother Cole early in the race.
ANTIGONISH, NS (August 7, 2019) – Donald Chisholm will run a special tribute-themed race car in this Saturday’s Toromont Cat 250 for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour (PST) at Scotia Speedworld. Chisholm will swap his familiar No. 89 Keltic Ford Fusion for a No. 88 race car lettered to replicate a 1970 Holman & Moody prepared Nova Construction-sponsored Ford Mustang Boss 302 which was raced by Donald’s father, the late John Chisholm, in the early 70s.
THREE DAYS OF EXCITMENT LINED UP FOR TOROMONT CAT 250 WEEKEND

Fans have lots to look forward including a Food Truck Rally and Show & Shine on Thursday which will feature a Meet & Greet with some of the stars of the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour. Friday night the Sportsman will battle for 100 laps and of course it all culminates with the 20th running of the Toromont Cat 250 on Saturday.
Motoring TV at Riverside Aug 16 & 17 to Celebrate 50th Anniversary
JAMES RIVER, NS (August 6, 2019) – Motoring TV, one of Canada’s top automotive television shows will be on-site at Riverside International Speedway August 16 and 17 to film an episode celebrating Riverside’s 50th anniversary; the episode will premiere nationally on TSN later this year.
MACEWEN TRIUMPHS AT HOME IN LUCAS OIL 150 FOR FIRST SERIES WIN
(Oyster Bed Bridge, PE, Aug 3, 2019) – Robbie MacEwen (Sherwood, PE) put forth a dominating performance en route to his first Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour victory in the Lucas Oil 150 at home at Oyster Bed Speedway. MacEwen led 116 laps, most of those with Dylan Gosbee (Cornwall, PE) on his back bumper. Gosbee came home in second place with multi-time Series champion Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS) in third. Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) drove to a fourth place finish with Canada Day 150 winner Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) completing the top five in the 22-car field.
