JAMES RIVER, NS (September 4, 2019) – This 2019 season has been a 50th-anniversary celebration to remember at Riverside International Speedway, a season which will conclude Saturday night with a big show featuring round 11 of 12 for the Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour in the Lucas Oil 150, championship-deciding races for the Napa Sportsman Series and the Passione Flooring East Coast Mini Stock Tour.
(more…)BLENKHORN WINS CUMMINS 200 AT PETTY INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY
(River Glade, NB- August 24, 2019) Dylan Blenkhorn (Truro, NS) picked up his third victory of the season tonight winning the River Glade International trophy in the Cummins 200 at Petty International Raceway. Jonathan Hicken (Brudenell, PE) gave chase for the latter part of the race but came up just short finishing second. Nicholas Naugle (Dartmouth, NS) picked up his first Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour Series podium with a third place finish. Former Series Champion Shawn Turple (Enfield, NS) and Robbie MacEwen (Charlottetown, PE) had solid performances and round out the top five. The Cummins 200 was slowed but just three cautions and took an hour and 20 minutes to complete.
(more…)PRO STOCK TOUR HEADS TO PETTY INTERNATIONAL FOR THE CUMMINS 200 THIS SATURDAY
(Halifax, NS, August 21, 2019) The Parts for Trucks Pro Stock Tour is headed to Petty International Raceway this Saturday for the Cummins 200. This is the third and final trip of the season to the ¼ mile oval located just outside of Moncton in River Glade, NB. The 200-lap event marks round 10 of 12 for the popular regional touring series. The Cummins 200 is the highlight event of the 55th running of the River Glade International taking place this weekend at Petty International Raceway. Grandstands for Saturday’s main event open at 4:00 PM, qualifying will take place at 6:00 PM with Atlantic Tiltload heat races.

Waterbury, VT – St-Denis, QC’s Patrick Laperle and Québec, QC’s Jean-Francois Dery each took home American-Canadian Tour (ACT) wins this past weekend as part of a doubleheader in the province of Quebec. Laperle captured the $10,000 CAD top prize for winning the Bacon Bowl 200 in a barnburner at Vallée-Jct., QC’s Autodrome Chaudiere on Saturday, August 17, becoming the winningest Late Model racer in ACT history in the process. Dery then pocketed $5,000 CAD for winning the Jean-Paul Cabana 125 at Ste-Croix, QC’s Circuit Riverside Speedway on Sunday, August 18.

JAMES RIVER, NS (August 14, 2019) – Management at Riverside International Speedway is ready to host NASCAR’s only visit to Canada’s east coast this weekend. Saturday’s Bumper to Bumper 300 for the NASCAR Pinty’s Series (NPS) is expected to highlight a busy two days when the stars of Canada’s only national touring series battle “bumper to bumper” on the high-banked 1/3-mile oval.
