Tracy Gordon earns guaranteed starting spot in rich Oxford 250 with 100-lap PASS Super Late Model Open score
Oxford, Maine – Tracy Gordon of Strong nailed down his first Super Late Model victory in several years, earning a guaranteed starting spot in the rich Oxford 250 with a 100-lap PASS Open race victory at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday night.
Gordon, the 1991 track champion, said “Wayne Helliwell won this race two years ago and then won the 250, and I told my guys before the race that’s what we’re gonna do.”

Kelly Moore prevails in Super Late Model action on Applebee’s Fireworks Night at Oxford Plains Speedway
Oxford, Maine – Kelly Moore of Scarborough raced to his first Super Late Model victory at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday night, topping the Applebee’s Fireworks Night racing card before an impressive crowd of race fans at the historic Route 26 speedplant.
For Moore it was his first trip to victory lane at Oxford Plains Speedway since a NASCAR Busch North Series triumph in 1991. Moore was the 1984 Oxford Plains Speedway track champion. After leaving weekly action at the track he went on to be a champion of the NASCAR Busch North Series (now known as NASCAR K&N East Series), where he remains the all-time top race winner in that touring series’ history.

Hometown Heroes, Fireworks & Lots On The Line For PASS Racers At Oxford & Spud
NAPLES, ME (June 28) – An important stretch of races will be coming up over the next few days for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models. Following a night of fireworks and local Super Late Model action on Saturday night at Oxford Plains Speedway, an epic opportunity looms for PASS racers the following day at Oxford. The PASS Open 100 will feature non-PASS North winners competing for a chance to race their way in to the 45th Annual Oxford 250. And if that was not enough, an international cast of drivers will have another opportunity to get locked into the Oxford 250 or PASS Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway through the $5,000 to win, Firecracker 200 on Tuesday night at Spud Speedway.

Entry Lists For Oxford And Richmond Grow As Big Month Of July Approaches
NAPLES, ME (June 19) – Entry lists continue to grow as the two biggest Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model races of the year draw near. With still two months to go before the green flag drops, there are currently over 40 entries for the $25,000 to win, 45th Annual Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway in August. And at over four months away, the inaugural PASS Commonwealth Classic at Richmond Raceway is drawing entries from across the motorsports spectrum for the PASS Super Late Models, Tour-Type Modifieds, Late Model Stocks, Limited Late Models, and Street Stocks.

Calvin Rose, Jr. scores first victory in Super Late Model at Oxford Plains Speedway
Oxford, Maine – Calvin Rose, Jr. of Turner raced to a career-first Super Late Model win Saturday night, topping the Budweiser Championship Series stock car racing program at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Rose, a Street Stock champion at the track two years ago, moved up to the top class last season and won Rookie of the Year honors. But victory eluded him and the family race team for the first time in awhile after being successful at every level coming up through the local racing ranks.

First Super Late Model win for Scott McDaniel at Oxford Plains Speedway
Oxford, Maine – Scott McDaniel of Livermore scored a career-first Super Late Model victory Saturday night, topping the Budweiser Championship Series stock car racing card at Oxford Plains Speedway.
McDaniel chased rookie Super Late Model competitor Ivan Kaffel of Raymond for more than half of the 50-lap race before driving around the 16-year-old to take command for good in a race that went caution-free.
