T.C. Forward Claims his Third Sportsman Modified Win
The Legion Speedway was back in action Friday night with the competitors of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Twilight Racing Series putting on a great show. In the Peanut’s Auto Sportsman Modifieds T.C. Forward led all but one lap to take his third win of the rapidly disappearing season. Kelly Miller Sr won for the second time n the Homestead Creations Late Models and David Flanders found victory lane for the second time this year. The Granite State Mini Sprints were also on hand with Zach Herbert dominating the 600cc event and Riley Chaffee pulling off the win in the 500cc main.
Wayland Childs Takes His First Career Sportsman Modified Victory
There was lots of exciting clean racing for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Twilight Racing Series at the Legion Speedway on Friday night as three of the five Features run went caution free. Wayland Childs picked up Career win number one in the Peanut’s Auto Sportsman Modifieds with Ryan Christian taking the win in the Homestead Creations Late Models. The Rand’s Hardware Mini Stocks ran twin 20’s with Erin Aiken claiming victory in the first Segment and Tim St. John cross the line first in the second one. Overall Erin Aiken took the win, her fifth of the season. The Bear Ridge Sportsman Coupes were also on hand and Chris LaForest took the win,
T.C. Forward Claims the Sportsman Modified Victory
After Raining out three of the last four weeks the cars and stars of O’Reilly Auto Parts Twilight Racing Series were finally back in action Friday night under a nearly full moon. The Peanut’s Auto Sportsman Modifieds found T.C. Forward grace victory lane for the second time this season with Kelly Miller Sr topping the overall in the twin 20’s for the Homestead Creation Late Model Sportsman. The Rand’s Hardware Mini Stocks saw David Flanders come out on top of a hard fought battle to take the win and the visiting Wingless Auto Group found veteran Mark Cole take the laurels.

Wins Both Sportsman Modified and Late Model Features
After two consecutive rainouts the O’Reilly Auto Parts Twilight Racing Series was back in action Friday night where Ryan Christian was victorious in both the Peanut’s Auto Modifieds and the Homestead Creations Late Model Sportsman with Marcus Jeness coming out on top of the Rand’s Hardware Mini Stocks for his first victory of the season. The Sprint Cars of New England were also on hand with Matt Hoyt taking the win and Sean Beinhaur winning the 500cc Mini Sprint Invitational.

For the second consecutive week and third time this season racing at Legion Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts Twilight Racing Series fell victim to inclement weather. Heavy rains in the region and a dismal forecast led management to cancel the evenings’ activities.

Heavy rains in the days prior to the event left both the track and grounds super saturated with moisture along with race day showers left management no choice bit to cancel the evenings’ activities.
