Waterbury, VT – American-Canadian Tour (ACT) officials have announced an update to the 2021 ACT Late Model Tour schedule. The May 2021 events at New Hampshire’s Lee USA Speedway and Barre, VT’s Thunder Road have switched places to better accommodate the tracks.
The 23rd Community Bank N.A. 150 at Thunder Road is now slated for Sunday, May 2. The event is the opener for Thunder Road’s 62nd season of competition. An optional practice day is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, May 1.
Star Speedway Announces Full 2021 Schedule of Events

EPPING, N.H. — Star Speedway’s 2021 schedule includes multiple major events, a full slate of weekly racing series divisions ready to race for a championship and the thrills and spills of staple shows to begin and end the season.
Fans will get a taste of Supermodifieds, Late Models, Modifieds, Midgets, Super Late Models, Trucks, Street Stocks and more over the course of more than 22 events of racing from April through October.
The schedule is headlined by two events for the Tri Track Open Modified Series (May 29 and July 24), including a new Memorial Day weekend show and the 10th annual SBM Classic in July. The 56th annual Star Classic returns, with a three-day show from September 17-19, while there are countless other special events including memorial races and extra-distance shows planned. The Granite State Pro Stock Series is back at Star for two dates — May 8 and a new Sunday special as part of the Star Classic weekend, September 19.

LOUDON, N.H. – New England race fans can add another race to their plans for the 2021 NASCAR race weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series schedule includes its traditional mid-summer visit to “The Magic Mile” on July 17.

ACT & PASS Confirm Weekend for Inaugural Northeast Classic at NHMS
2-Day Event to be Held Weekend of April 16-18
Waterbury, VT and Naples, ME — American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have confirmed the dates for the inaugural Northeast Classic at Loudon’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The long-awaited event will be held on the weekend of April 16-18, 2021.
A two-day schedule is planned with open practice on day one and qualifying/features on day two. Whether the event has a Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday schedule will be determined over the winter.
Cabral, Stergios Take NEMA/Rifchin Memorial Prize at Claremont
NEMA returned to the Claremont Motorsports Park for the first time in five years this past Saturday. Randy Cabral pulled off a “hail mary” pass with seven laps remaining in the NEMA feature, passing Todd Bertrand and leader Mike Horn to take down his third win of the season. In the Lites feature, PJ Stergios passed leader Jim Santa Maria with five laps remaining to take down the victory.
The race celebrated Marvin Rifchin, who was a long time supporter of NEMA. Marvin’s contributions to the industry have been nationally recognized. In 1999, he was inducted into the NEAR Hall of Fame. In 2003, he was inducted into the SEMA Hall of Fame. Throughout the 60′s, 70′s, 80′s, and into the 90′s, Marvin’s tires helped deliver countless NEMA victories and championships with guys like Russ Stoehr, Bill Eldridge, Al Pillion, Dave Humphrey, Lee Smith, Joey Coy, and Drew Fornoro just to name a few.
Sunday October fourth, the Granite State Pro Stock Series made its annual trek to Russ Conway’s Oktoberfest at Lee USA Speedway and for the second year in a row Derek Griffith bested all comers.
Under a picture perfect sky the teams of the GSPSS assembled at one of the traditional events in New England to contest a 100 lap affair. Practice was smooth for most and all looked to be well until it was time for The Crazy Horse Fast Time Challenge. Due to a tight schedule and a short turn around from practice, time trials were canceled and heat races were lined up based on final practice speeds.
Heat number one was won by Dylan Estrella who was making his first start of the season. He beat Rusty Poland to the line and would redraw pill number one and start the main event on the pole.
