Drivers Ready To Make New Memories At Lanier This Weekend
NAPLES, ME (November 13) – Ever since the return of stock car racing to Lanier Raceplex was announced earlier this year, fans and drivers alike have brought up memories of great races of the past at the speedway that opened in 1982. On Saturday afternoon, new memories will be made when the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) National Super Late Model Championship will be decided in the Lanier National 200. While the championship will conclude a season that began at Richmond Raceway in March, the Lanier National 200 will pay $6,000 to the race winner, and an eye-popping $1,000 just to start. Joining the PASS Super Late Models at Lanier, will be three divisions of Legends cars and the Bandoleros. The Legends Pro/Masters will race for $500 to win, Semi-Pros will compete for $400 to win, and the Young Lions will race for $300 to win.
Lanier Just Days Away From Rebirth For PASS Finale
NAPLES, ME (November 7) – In just over a week, the sounds of race engines will again permeate the hills and countryside of North Georgia when the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models hit the pavement at Lanier Raceplex. Throwing back to the original name of the speedway which has been shuttered for the better part of the last decade, the Lanier National 200 will pay $6,000 to win and $1,000 just to start the feature on Saturday, November 16. Along with the 200 lap contest, points leader, Mike Hopkins of Maine, will look to be crowned the 12th PASS National Super Late Model Champion. Joining the PASS Super Late Models in action will be feature events for Legends Pros/Masters, Semi-Pros, and Young Lions, along with racing for Bandeleros.
Tight PASS North Points Battle To Be Decided At Seekonk Finale
NAPLES, ME (October 23) – For only the second time since 2010, the final race for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model season will be at a track other than Oxford Plains Speedway. On Saturday afternoon, New England’s fastest Super Late Models will complete for 150 laps at Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts, along with the Haunted Hundred for the Tri-Track Open Modified Series. Last year, the series returned to Seekonk for the first time since 2012, with Travis Benjamin taking the win and DJ Shaw claiming his third PASS North title.
Twelfth Place Finish for Eddie MacDonald at Oxford
Eddie MacDonald struggled with a loose handling car to post a 12th place finish in the 150 lap PASS race at Oxford Plains Speedway on Saturday, October 19. Adding to the problem was the over aggressive push from a competitor during the heat race.
During the first two of four fifteen minute practices, Eddie Mac’s EXIT Realty/Hancock Electric/Grimm Construction Chevy performed well on the old practice tires from the Oxford 250 but the handling and speed disappeared when the new Hoosier tires were bolted on the Freddie Peterson owned ride.

In a year that began back in April, Oxford Plains has seen a variety of different PASS winners this year, including Garrett Hall, Curtis Gerry, and Travis Benjamin.
