Seth Carlson in the USAC DMA Midgets.

While everything around the track was under water the ¼ mile fastest clay oval track in Vermont, was in excellent shape and indeed fast fast fast on opening night 2019 of the 52nd consecutive season at Bear Ridge Speedway.

It was a wild night for the DIRTcar Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds, the fast and tacky track made for a very level playing field for all the contenders. Lapped traffic late in the event would have a huge play in the outcome of the event. This gave Robert Tucker the opportunity he needed to get by the front of the field for the win with Steve Flint coming in across for second. Billy Lussier gave us a surprise visit and was able to grab third. Derek O’Hearn and Matt Lashua completed the top five.
