Devil’s Bowl Speedway to Host Fan Festival and Car Show on Opening Day
Fans invited for car show in morning followed by registration, inspection, and racing
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway will kick off its new era of dirt track racing in style on Sunday, May 27, with a free fan festival and car show on Opening Day. Racing fans old and new are invited to come to the speedway for the free event, which will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prior to the night’s racing program.

PASS to Tackle High Banks Again at Memorial Day Classic
Barre, VT – The Thunder returns to Barre on Sunday, May 27 at 1:30pm as Thunder Road wraps up the month of May with the 56th Mekkelsen RV Memorial Day Classic. With the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models joining the hometown Thunder Road favorites as part of a 5-division card, a big holiday afternoon of racing is in store as the 59th season of competition kicks into high gear.

Walter Hammond Jr tops the Sportsman Modifieds, Todd Hayward Dominates in the Coupes
It was all systems GO for week two on a beautiful night at Bear Ridge Speedway. Joining the regular divisions of the 99Rock Weekly Racing Series were the WYKR Sprint Cars of New England, who always put a fantastic Show.
The pounding thunder of the Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds were the first Feature of the evening going for forty laps. Mike Ryan grabbed the lead from the second starting spot when the green flag flew. Ryan survived a couple of caution flags while Walt Hammond Jr was working his way toward the front from his 5th starting spot, arriving in second with 23 laps complete and completing the pass for the lead on lap 26. While Hammond Jr started to run away from the field Adam Pierson was methodically heading to the front from his 17th starting spot, passing Ryan for second with three laps to go. At the checkers it was Walt Hammond Jr with the convincing win, Adam Pierson was second with Robert Tucker third. Mike Ryan and last weeks winner, Kevin Chaffee completed the top five. (more…)

Eddie MacDonald Battles for Tenth Place Finish at Thunder Road
Eddie MacDonald battled his racecar and a caution filled race to post a determined tenth place finish in the ACT opener at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road on Sunday, May 6. After a two week delay, the 33rd year for the American Canadian Tour took the green flag in the 20th Community Bank 150 only to wait out a two hour rain delay after completing only two laps of the 150 lap feature.

Big Month Of May For PASS Continues At Oxford, Concord, & Thunder Road
NAPLES, ME (May 8) – For racers and fans across the United States, the month of May is huge. And it’s no different for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS), which will feature the best in Super Late Model racing throughout the remainder of the month.
Following a hard fought and exciting race this past Saturday night at Star Speedway for the PASS North Super Late Models which saw Travis Benjamin take the win over Reid Lanpher, the series regulars will get a much deserved weekend off. But, PASS North will return to action on Sunday, May 20 for their second visit of the season to Oxford Plains Speedway for the Honey Badger Bar & Grill 150. Waterboro, ME’s Curtis Gerry will look to continue his dominance of the legendary oval as his competitors look for the key to winning as they prep for August’s $25,000 to win Oxford 250.
