Patnode Captures Fenton Family Dealership 100 presented by Mayhew Tools

Winchester, NH: After 3 weeks of no racing due to weather, Mother Nature final cooperated with a beautiful evening for a full card of NASCAR Whelen All-American Racing Series action plus Lightening Stocks, Young Guns, and the Valenti Modified Racing Series Fenton Family Dealership 100 presented by Mayhew Tools. Numerous drivers returned to victory lane including Sammy Silva (Young Guns), Gordon Farnum (Lightning Stocks), Matt Kimball (Mini Stocks) and Geoff Rollins (Sportsman Modifieds). James Nowakowski (Thunder Stocks) and Marc Curtis (Super Stocks) made their first trips to victory lane this season. Todd Patnode took his 2nd Valenti Modified Racing Series win at Monadnock this season.

Race Night Cancelled Due to Track Conditions
Winchester, NH: Mother Nature was finally going to give Monadnock Speedway a break this past Saturday however, after the final rain storm came through and track began to dry speedway staff noticed water seeping through the front stretch wall. The track personnel tried to stop the water from leaking onto track but all efforts were unsuccessful as the speedway was too saturated due to the week long of heavy storms. The decision was made to cancel the event as the track conditions would be too dangerous for competitors to compete on.

Mother Nature Wins Two In A Row
Winchester, NH: This past Saturday marks the sixth rain out of the season at the high banks of Monadnock Speedway. The Granite State Pro Stocks Series was scheduled to make their only appearance of the season for the JBH 100 Special Event. The JBH 100 will now be held on September 15, 2018. The Cindy Hall Memorial Mudbog Muslinger that was scheduled for Sunday was also washed out.

Going into the JBH 100 this Saturday, August 11th at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, NH points leader Cory Casagrande of Stafford Springs, CT will not be in attendance due to a pre-planned family function. “I’ll be giving up my points lead for my brother Kyle’s bachelor party this weekend, I wish everyone the best of luck and will be back for White Mountain on Saturday, August 18th.” Casagrande said.

Brian Chapin and Louie Maher Celebrate First 2018 Victories

Winchester, NH: After a two week layoff due to Mother Nature and the scheduled mid-summer NASCAR break Monadnock Speedway was back in action this past Saturday night with the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series in action with the Young Guns, Granite State Legends and Bandoleros as well. Early the weather looked great but just as the first feature was wrapping up in victory lane Mother Nature tried to win the night, but thanks to the efforts of the track crew, numerous drivers and race teams after a roughly hour and a half rain delay racing action resumed and those fans that stuck it out were rewarded with some of the best finishes of the season. Giovanni Ruggiero took down the win in the Bandoleros and Shaun Buffington took the win in the Legends feature. Ed Lofland (Thunder Stocks) and Nathan Wenzel (Young Guns) returned to victory lane; while Cole Littlewood (Super Stocks), Brian Chapin (Sportsman Modifieds), and Louis Maher (Mini Stocks) captured their first wins of the season.

Mother Nature Wipes out Saturday Event at Monadnock Speedway
Winchester, NH: The weather did not cooperate with Monadnock Speedway this past Saturday (July 14) forcing the owners to cancel the Iron Mike Memorial NEMA event and the annual Open Track Party. The Iron Mike Memorial featuring NEMA and NEMA Lites has been postponed to Super Saturday Season Finale Event on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The Open Track Party / Heroes of Yester-Year will be held on a future date to be determined.
