Valenti Modified Racing Series Heats Up the High Banks with the Firecracker 100

Winchester, NH – Firecracker night brought the annual July 4th celebration at Monadnock Speedway. It saw the 2nd visit of the season for the Valenti Modified Racing Series with local fan favorite Todd Patnode of Swanzey, NH winning the Firecracker 100. Solomon Brow (#33vt) made it two in a row in the Super Stocks. While Matt Kimball (50x) made it two in a row too and 3rd on the season with his win in the Mini Stocks. Ben Byrne (#6) captured his 2nd Sportsman Modified win of the season. First time winners were Gordon Farnum (Lightning Stocks), Taylor Striebel (Young Guns), and Doug McLean (Thunder Stocks).

ISMA Returns to the High Banks of Monadnock Speedway after a 40 year absence.

Winchester, NH: The International Super Modified Association or ISMA final received some cooperation from Mother Nature. After the first 2 attempts were rained out the 3rd time was a charm and the stands where packed and witnessed record breaking lap times. Mike Lichty won the Genden Auto Parts ISMA 75 presented by T-Bird Mini Marts. During ISMA time trials Jon McKennedy captured the $1000 bonus from Bentley’s Saloon for breaking the track record with a lap of 11.138. Solomon Brow (Super Stocks), Chris Phelps (Young Guns), and Ethan Marsh (Mini Stocks) found their way to victory lane for the first time this season. Brian Robie (Sportsman Modifieds), Ed Lofland (Thunder Stocks), and Matt Gauffin (Lightning Stocks) found their way back to victory lane.

ISMA Postponed to June 30th at Monadnock Speedway

Winchester, NH: For the second time, Mother Nature has forced Monadnock Speedway to postpone the highly anticipated event of the year, the Genden Auto Parts ISMA 75 presented by T-Bird Mini Marts. The event was originally scheduled in May however, the forecast of rain halted the special event and was postponed to June 23rd. This past Saturday, rain showers covered the region once again forcing the event to be postponed to this Saturday, June 30th.

Winchester, NH: A beautiful day welcomed races and fans alike to the High Banks of Monadnock Speedway. A full evening of racing featuring the NASCAR Whelen All-American series divisions plus Lightning Stocks and Young Guns would take place. The Mini Stocks would be racing an extended distance for extra cash in the Mini Stock Showdown; 21 Mini Stocks would take the green and it would be Matthew Kimball in the 50x that captured the win. The other feature winners would be Joel Monahan (Sportsman Modifieds), Tyler Leary (Super Stocks), Richard Vincent (Thunder Stocks), Matt Gauffin (after a post-race inspection in the Lightning Stocks), and Sammy Silva (Young Guns).

Rollins scores second Sportsman Modified Victory

Winchester, NH: This past Saturday, Monadnock Speedway hosted seven divisions of racing action. Geoff Rollins scored his second win in the Sportsman Modified as did Richard Vincent in the Thunder Stocks. Tyler Leary celebrated his fourth Super Stock win while Mini Stock Kevin McKnight cruised in victory lane for the first this season. Nate Wenzel took his third checkered flag in the Young Guns. The Granite State Legends and Bandoleros visited the high banks with Shaun Buffington (Legends) and Giovanni Ruggerio (Bandoleros) in victory lane.

Rivet Scores First Career Sportsman Modified Victory

Winchester, NH: Monadock Speedway hosted a full venue of racing this past Saturday with five of the weekly divisions along with visiting tours of the STAR Antique Racers and Por 4 Modifieds. The fans cheered on first time winners of Chris Sontag (Young Guns) and Kim Rivet (Sportsman Modifieds). New faces in victory lane for the 2018 season included Dennis Stange (Super Stocks) and Julia Raymond (Mini Stocks). There was only one repeat winner on Saturday Night, Matt Gauffin in the Lightning Stocks. For the Pro 4 Modifieds, it was Rob Richardi celebrating a win along with Pro 4 Lite Winner P.J. Peter. STAR Antique winners included Rocky Cusanelli in the Sportsman division and Danny Ferland in the Modified division.
