Modified Racing Series set to Return to Claremont Motorsports Park in 2021
Claremont Motorsports Park and The Modified Racing Series are pleased to announce the return of one of New England’s finest modified touring series to the NH oval in 2021. The series and track will join forces for a spectacular fall day of racing that fans won’t want to miss. Labor Day weekend, 2021, the sound of tour type modifieds will once again thunder from Thrasher Road.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring The M.R.S. back to Claremont”, stated track promoter Mike Parks. “Tour type Modifieds were the lifeblood of the speedway for many many years so to bring them back is an honor”. Parks went on to say “Jack (Bateman) and general manager Willie Doucette are bringing the series back to its roots for 2021 and we are excited to be a part of that process”.

Visconti Motorsports Adds Mason Diaz To Driver Lineup For 2021

MOORESVILLE, N.C. — Visconti Motorsports, and new driver Mason Diaz, are set to chase the ARCA Menards Series East championship in 2021.
Based in Mooresville, North Carolina, the team announced on Monday the addition of Diaz as a full-time competitor in the ARCA East Series. Diaz will chase the championship driving the familiar No. 74, and as part of the ride, Diaz, and his family, will bring equipment and sponsorship to combine with the already established group at Visconti, proven to win races and run inside the top-five. Together, all parties are confident in making a championship run.
Michael Diaz (Mason’s father) and I have the same goal in mind. We want to give Mason the opportunity to be competitive and compete for wins as well as having some fun along the way. We look forward to our new venture together.”

Despite Mother Nature raining on the party early, Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park successfully held day number two of the 56th Annual Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing on Saturday, Oct. 13. Seven features made up the afternoon with several drivers clinching championships in touring series holding their season finales at the Big-T.

Winchester, NH – Firecracker night brought the annual July 4th celebration at Monadnock Speedway. It saw the 2nd visit of the season for the Valenti Modified Racing Series with local fan favorite Todd Patnode of Swanzey, NH winning the Firecracker 100. Solomon Brow (#33vt) made it two in a row in the Super Stocks. While Matt Kimball (50x) made it two in a row too and 3rd on the season with his win in the Mini Stocks. Ben Byrne (#6) captured his 2nd Sportsman Modified win of the season. First time winners were Gordon Farnum (Lightning Stocks), Taylor Striebel (Young Guns), and Doug McLean (Thunder Stocks).

(Stafford Springs, CT)—The Valenti Modified Racing Series made its first of two visits during the 2018 season to Stafford Motor Speedway for the 5th Annual VMRS 80. Taking the checkered flag was Rowan Pennink, who started deep in the field and bided his time before making a charge to the front over the final 30-laps of the race.
