White Mountain Motorsports Park Postpones June 6 Tiger $2K Event

With increased chances of rain and thunderstorms in the greater Lincoln area forecasted for Saturday, White Mountain Motorsports Park officials have made the decision to cancel the planned card of racing for tomorrow, June 6.

Officials held out hope that the system would dissipate but with thunderstorms forecasted to be in the area throughout the afternoon and evening hours on Saturday. Officials chose to make the call to save teams travel expenses.

We kept an eye on Saturday’s forecast all week hoping for the best but it obviously hasn’t gotten any better for us. We’ll look to regroup for next Saturday and hope to get back on Mother Nature’s good side. said WMMP managing partner Cris Michaud.

A postponement date for the $2,000-to-Win, 100 lapper for The Farmyard Store Flying Tigers will be announced this coming week.

Farmyard Store Flying Tigers compete in $2,000-to-Win 100 Lap Tiger Showdown

The Farmyard Store Flying Tigers are back on top this Saturday at White Mountain Motorsports Park for the second annual Tiger $2K. With $2,000 going to the winner at the end of 100 laps, it’s sure to be a battle to the very end!

In three events so far, The Farmyard Store Flying Tigers have been the division to watch at White Mountain. Chandler Potter barnstormed to the HK Powersports 75 win on opening day, Nate Hamblett battled kidney stones and the field to take the first 35-lapper of the season the next week and young Luke Peters fought off fellow youngster Austin Sicard for last week’s win.

With $2,000 on the line in this week’s 100 lap main event, it remains to be seen if veterans like Shane Sicard, Mike Clark or John Donahue can pick up the check versus the youngsters like point leader Kyle Willis, Cameron Ouellette and Owen Cheney, to name a few!

Tyler Thompson Wins Bar Harbor Strictly Mini Special at White Mountain

A cold morning greeted the campers at White Mountain Motorsports Park with frost covering the mountain tops all around, though Mother Nature gave race fans an unexpected break with a great evening for racing.

Tyler Thompson was looking for redemption in the longest race of the summer for the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Strictly Minis. The Littleton driver launched from the field within the first two laps as JJ Goodbout and Jacob Roy began to reel him in with the three running nose-to-tail. A four car pile-up ended the night for several cars while Goodbout and Thompson ran doorhandle-to-doorhandle for the top spot on the restart.

Stockwell and Leary Take Wins at Monadnock Speedway

WINCHESTER, NH – The rain stopped and the stars came out Saturday night at Monadnock Speedway, and none shone more brightly than JD Stockwell and Tyler Leary, who each powered to their second victory of the season on the high banks of the great race place.

No fewer than three different drivers won their first feature event of the summer on the final Saturday of May at the fast quarter-mile, and Young Gun wizard Dylan Stati extended his youth division winning streak to five, but Saturday’s big money victories went to Leary and Stockwell.
