On a picture perfect day for racing it was Jeremy Davis once again standing in victory lane at Speedway 51. A strong field of cars was on hand but after an exciting 100 lap main event, no one was better than Davis.
First on the days schedule was time trials and the Crazy Horse Racing race for the pole. This being the first race at the Groveton NH speed plant in the GSPSS time trial era, it was time for a new track record. After all the competitors had their shot at the clock, the driver who holds the first Speedway 51 GSPSS track record is Joey Doirin with a time of 12.564 seconds.
GSPSS returns to Speedway 51 for the J.P Sicard 100
Stop number four for the Granite State Pro Stock Series will see a return to Speedway 51 in Groveton NH and the running of the J.P. Sicard 100. The Laquare family owned third mile oval did not host the series in 2018 but has in the past and it has always provided great racing.
PASS Super Late Models Ready To Roar Into Speedway 51 This Weekend
NAPLES, ME (May 15) – For the second straight weekend, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models will compete on a tight Granite State bullring. After a wild race at Star Speedway that saw home state favorite DJ Shaw come out on top, the tour moves to Groveton, NH’s Speedway 51 for the NAPA Spectacular PASS 151. While Shaw has gotten a little bit of breathing room in the chase for New England’s top short track title, fellow Center Conway, NH driver Gabe Brown is looking to make his mark in the series. Following a Super Late Model championship at Oxford Plains Speedway in 2018, Brown has moved up to PASS North competition and now finds himself sitting third in points. Brown says he is looking forward to another race in the Granite State this weekend.

Groveton, NH – DJ Shaw of Center Conway, New Hampshire raced to his second Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model victory of the season Saturday night in the Creative Counters 151 at Speedway 51 in Groveton, New Hampshire.
Shaw, a two-time PASS North Super Late Model champion, remained atop the 2018 championship standings with his win, but little was added to his lead as his Precision JLM / Mulkern Excavating machine was followed under the checkered flag by Travis Benjamin of Belfast, Maine, currently ranked second in the PASS North Super Late Model standings. Hebert Snaps Winless Streak with Dominating Victory at Speedway 51
Groveton, NH – Williamstown, VT’s Jimmy Hebert broke a nearly 5-year American-Canadian Tour (ACT) winless streak in grand fashion on Sunday, July 15 by dominating the J.P. Sicard/Kingdom Gravel 151 at Speedway 51. Hebert took the lead for the first time on a lap-4 restart and eventually led all but five circuits en route to taming the Groveton, NH oval. (more…)
