Monadnock Speedway Forced To Delay Opener

(Winchester, NH) Monadnock Speedway was scheduled to hold their annual test and tune session this Saturday, April 11th however Old Man Winter has interfered. The owners of the speedway has announced that the season will be delayed by two weeks with the Bond Auto Parts Spring Dash 100 Opener postponed to Saturday, May 2nd. The facility still has areas of snow cover and the parking lot is not passable until the temperatures begin to rise to dry out the mud. This has delayed the start up maintenance and deliveries to the track making it impossible to start on time.

The new date for the test and tune session will be Saturday, April 25th from Noon to 5pm. All division including touring series are welcome. Pit gates open at 10am. The test and tune session is free for general admission to allow the fans to preview the upcoming competition.

The Bond Auto Parts Spring Dash 100 will be held on Saturday, May 2nd featuring the first race of the season for the Valenti Modified Racing Series along with Monadnock Speedway’s weekly division; Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Thunder Stocks, Lightning Stocks and Young Guns. The Pro 4 Modifieds and NE Classic Lites will also be competing at the special event. Due to the number of divisions competing, the event will start at 4pm.
