TRI TRACK OPEN MODIFIED SERIES ANNOUNCES 2020 SCHEDULE 

SIX-RACE SLATE INCLUDES FOUR DIFFERENT TRACKS

SEEKONK, Mass. — Tri Track Open Modified Series officials announced a six-race schedule for the 2020 season on Tuesday, with races spreading across four different tracks, and two states in New England. 

The schedule includes a mix of staple events — like Seekonk Speedway’s Open Wheel Wednesday and Star Speedway’s SBM 125 — along two trips to Monadnock Speedway, a return visit to Claremont Speedway and a championship finale Haunted Hundred back at Seekonk, in what has quickly become a compelling day of racing.

ACT Reveals 12-Event 2020 Schedule

Waterbury, VT – The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced its schedule of events for 2020. The 29th year of the ACT Late Model Tour will feature 12 point-counting events at eight tracks throughout the Northeastern United States and Quebec between mid-April and mid-September.

The chase for the 2020 ACT championship and the $10,000 top prize will begin and end at Loudon, NH’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS). As previously announced, the Tour opens the season at the inaugural Northeast Classic on Saturday, April 18. ACT has also been added to the third annual Full Throttle Fall Weekend at NHMS on Friday and Saturday, September 11 and 12.

Winchester Speedpark to serve as practice facility for regional snocross teams

Venue to host 2020 season opener for new sanctioning body

SALEM, N.H. (Nov. 22, 2019) — One of the northeast’s most popular and well-designed powersports racing venues will play a key role in helping local snocross teams prepare for the coming season. 

Winchester Speedpark, located in scenic Winchester, New Hampshire, will be the site of a snocross practice facility this December. Practice sessions are slated for Dec. 14-15 and Dec. 21-22.

After three seasons of moving forward, the New England Short Track Showdown at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has been put into park for the 2020 season.  

Event promoter Bob Guptill cites high costs and high risks for the decision to put the event on hiatus.

Oktoberfest up next for the GSPSS at Lee USA Speedway

As the 2019 Granite State Pro Stock Series season winds down, the series takes part in one of the most anticipated events of the year. The two day Oktoberfest at Lee USA Speedway has become a destination event for New England race fans and teams alike.

   The last three Lee events for the GSPSS have been dominated by two drivers from just up the road in Maine. They are friends, competitors, rivals and coworkers, as both drivers work at JBJ Machine in North Berwick Maine. The machine shop, owned by John Doiron, not only employs both drivers but makes numerous parts for race cars driven throughout New England.
