Wiscasset, ME- South China’s Brian Fortin has been racing since 2002. He started in the Mini Stock ranks where he had many feature wins and a countless number of trophies. When it was time to move up Brian decided to buy a Verizon Wireless Super Street. In his rookie year Brian picked up a feature victory but it was due to a failed post race inspection. The same thing had happened to Brian year after year and even already in 2009. However Motor Supply night at Wiscasset Raceway changed all of that. Fortin showed he could win on the track leading all 25 laps of the super street race. Ed Drake of Vassalboro finished second with Bryan Robbins bringing back the #51 to finish third. 2007 champion Bernie Dinsmore came back after being involved in a early race caution to finish fourth. Jason Gaboury would finish fifth.

The U.S. Cellular Mini Truck division had the crowed on their feet as Ryan Hayes passed Kevin Oliver on the last lap to pick up another feature win. Oliver would finish second with Russ Anderson third, Rick Sirios fourth and Josh Harjula fifth.

The Aable Auto Parts Mini Stock division saw Pete McCollett picking up his second win of the season in front of Ryan Ripley and Tim Collins. Tasha Dyer of Arrowsic finished fourth and Mark Childs fifth.

The New England Transmissions Strictly Street division had Ian Besnehan in his Cadillac El Dorado picking up the checkered flag with Mike Moody hot on his heels. Wally Henderson finished third with his son Jamie Henderson fourth. Alex Waltz rounded out the top five.

The Steel’s Real Rod’s and Custom’s Late Models had the crowed on the edge of their seat as well. Seth Raven held off Chris Thorne for his first win at Wiscasset. Thorne would get second with Steve Reno third. Nick Reno took home fourth and Duane Love fifth.

In the Clarks Car Crushing Pro Stocks Scott King finally broke through for a feature win. Scott Moore finished right behind him for second. Third would go to Chuck Colby with fourth and fifth going to Jeff Burgess and Dave Farrington respectively.
