BRENT, IT LOOKED LIKE YOU WERE ON PACE TO HAVE A MUCH BETTER FINISH THAN YOU ENDED UP WITH.

It was a pretty decent night overall. We were in fifth and got tore up a little bit. One car bounced up off the wall and then came back across and hit us, and we had to pit.

The guys did a good job getting it all back together, and the car was still pretty decent. The right front tire’s pretty gone. We were lucky to get back as far as we did.

WHAT HAPPENED ON THE LAP 89 INCIDENT?

It looked like the (J.R. Baril) kept trying to push (Ben Ashline) up, and (Tim Brackett) got in underneath them. He got into them, and then they started bouncing off one another and then they came back across right in front of me. Just an accident, for sure.

ARE YOU FRUSTRATED OR PLEASED WITH THE END RESULT, GIVEN ALL YOU WENT THROUGH?

I’m happy to salvage what we salvaged. We showed up here and didn’t have a very good car (in practice)… I’m just happy to end up where we did.
