****************

JOEY, YOU LEFT WITH THE CAR IN ONE PIECE. THAT HAS TO FEEL GOOD.

I came in with the expectation of just finishing the race. I’d never done that before here (in any division). The car rolled itself to the trailer, and I’m pretty excited about that, too.

DID YOU INTENTIONALLY SHORT PIT, OR DID THAT HAPPEN BY CHANCE?

I thought it was going to work. I just wasn’t comfortable enough and the car wasn’t good enough, so I had to come in and pit (early). It was supposed to rain earlier than it did, and that would have been great… We were lucky enough to come in and put fuel in it and make that work.

AND NOW YOU GET TO GO TO YOUR FAVORITE TRACK, BEECH RIDGE, IN JUST FOUR DAYS.

Hopefully we can have a good finish there. Hopefully we can compete for the win.
