Doiron Kicks Off New Year At Expo
BERWICK, Maine — 2010 PASS North Series Rookie of the Year Joey Doiron will attend the 23rd annual Northeast Motorsports Expo and Trade Show on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 7-8, at the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, Maine.
Doiron will sign autographs on both nights from 6-8 p.m. at the Pro All-Stars Series booth.
“It should be fun,” said Doiron, who drives the No. 73 JBJ Machine/Dale Shaw Race Cars Dodge. “Looking back, it was a good season for me and this will be a good way to get started on next season.”
Doiron, who won the ACT Late Model Tour Rookie of the Year award in 2009, made the jump to the PASS North Series and finished a solid ninth in the overall standings. In 12 starts, Doiron posted four Top-10 finishes and a career-best fourth-place finish in the season opener at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway en route to collecting the ROY hardware.
Doiron plans to compete full-time on the PASS North Series again in 2011.
