NEMA Driver Paul Bigelow Ok After Hard Wreck at Thunder Road

Barre, VT – Northeastern Midget Association (NEMA) President Mike Scrivani has reported to Thunder Road officials that NEMA driver Paul Bigelow of Berlin, CT is ok after his horrific crash at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, VT on Sunday, June 19.

Bigelow was transported to Central Vermont Medical Center for evaluation following his accident on the front stretch. Following his evaluation, Bigelow was released with a slight concussion and a bruised knee.
NEMA officials expect Bigelow to make a full recovery and return to the driver’s seat soon. They also wanted to thank the excellent response from the Thunder Road rescue, safety crew and wrecker service during the unfortunate wreck during the NEMA Lite event.
