ACT Tour Racing
(Barre, VT) – ACT Late Model Standout Joey Polewarczyk Jr of Hudson, NH looks for redemption in a race that he led the most laps in, last season.

What a difference a year makes in the world of racing. At this point last year, #97NH Joey Polewarczyk was riding a winning streak; seldom seen on a Late Model Tour of this caliber. The young driver ended up winning the last 5 out of 10 ACT Point and non-point races, including the Vermont Milk Bowl at Thunder Road Speedbowl. This year the Polewarczyk Race Team are looking for their first win, since a February trip to New Smyrna Speedway in Florida saw Joey capture the Inaugural Goodyear Speedweeks Cup.

“Well, this year has really got us thinking about the what-if’s. We have had great cars at most of the tracks we have been to so far and our finishes do not reflect our effort, we just have to keep plugging away.” Joey also added, “I really think we have a great set-up at Thunder Road for our #97 Poles Automotive, NH Precision Ford Fusion to get to victory lane.”

“We should have won this race last year and I made a mistake as a driver, which cost us a win, the crew put a winning piece underneath me last year and I know they will this year as well.”

Joey takes to the “Nations Site of Excitement” Thunder Road Speedbowl on Sunday, September 4 with a post time of 1:30pm.
