Lisbon, ME. – September 30, 2011

The DT Promotions Racing Team, with driver Travis Dunbar, Lisbon, ME, is headed to the “SAVE WISCASSET FUN RACE” in Wiscasset, ME for the final pro stock race for Dunbar which will be held on Saturday, Oct. 15th.

Given Dunbar’s past successes at Wiscasset Raceway in a Super Mini-Cup race car, finishing in the top ten and top five in 2006, the team is looking to this race with optimism.

“Anytime you go to a race track where you have been successful in previous years, history gives you the confidence to know you can do the job,” said DT Promotions co-owner and driver Travis Dunbar.

The DT Promotions Racing Team prepares and races a pro stock in the Six Pack Series in N.H.

Saturday’s pro stock race on the fast 3/8 mile track is also the final race for DT Promotions in pro stock competition.

“This year has not been without its trials, but we’ve made a lot of progress in our efforts,” said Travis Dunbar. “Our car has become very competitive and we achieved new levels of performance this year.”

Next year, DT Promotions will be fielding the #45 Late Model at the famed Oxford Plains Speedway for weekly competition with Travis Dunbar driving.
