Hudson N.H.-Meegan Lord won her third straight B and L Used Auto Parts Thunder Lights feature at “Christmas in July” July 15TH at Hudson International Speedway . Lord led every lap of the race. Andrew Morin was second and Max Chaput was third.
Scotty Duval won his second feature of 2012 in the Rookie Stocks. The two-time Rookie champion had to fight hard for this win. Jerry Lepage was never far behind him and in the last few laps got beside him but couldn’t complete the pass. Lepage was second. Mike McHugh continues to improve and took home a podium finish with his third place run. After a tough couple of weeks Roger Tanquay Sr. was happy to finish fourth. John Morin Jr. finished fifth. Sixth through tenth were Billy Clement Jr., Chad Wendell, Jason Ryan, Bill Helliwell and Tyler Nelson.
Jef James led the first half of the twenty lap Roadrunner feature. Hollywood Helliwell was right on James bumper as they passed the halfway point. Helliwell blasted by James the next lap and drove away from the field and into victory lane. James was second. Johnny Reefer had his second podium finish in as many weeks with a third place finish. Erica Page was fourth. Tommy Lord was fifth. Sixth through tenth were Carlos Esquivel, Jake Joslin, Justin Beecher, Jen lord and Scott Regan.
Travis Nevers won the Full-Size Enduro followed by Dave Lavine, Keith Lavine and Charlie Grifffith.
Richard Beauchesne won the 4 Cyl Enduro followed by Steve George, Paul Wainwright, Joe Holden and Leon Keniston.
Ryan Symonds won both the Spectator Drags and Spectator Race. Justin Radcliffe won the Flagpole Race.
July 22nd at Hudson Speedway is the first of three straight weeks of the Outlaw Sportsman plus Rookies, Roadrunners, B and L Used Auto Parts Thunder Lights, Spectator Race, Spectator Drags and Flagpole Race. Gates open at 4pm and the first race is at 6pm.
