Hudson N.H.- George Baldwin of Lowell MA won his first Outlaw Sportsman feature of the 2012 season on July 29th in just his second appearance of the year at Hudson Speedway. Baldwin started third on the outside lane and used the outside lane make his move forward.

Todd Warren of Rutland MA was leading when a caution came out about five laps into the race and that put Baldwin on the outside pole for the restart. Baldwin was quick to grab the lead after starter Steve Gran dropped the green flag to restart the race. Baldwin stretched his lead from that point while Warren was holding off Jay Sands for third. With five laps to go Baldwin caught slower cars that were racing side by side and Warren began closing in Baldwin. Baldwin cleared the two slower cars after a few laps and held on to win. Warren finished second and Sands was third. Geoff Rollins of Groton MA was fourth and George Frost Jr. of Gardner MA was fifth. Baldwin and Kevin Aberle won the heat races.

Max Chaput of Hudson NH led the first half of the B and L Used Auto Parts Thunder Lights feature. Chaput had Andrew Morin of Nashua N.H. right on his bumper and Morin had Nick Dombroski of Tyngsboro MA right on his bumper. Chaput was doing a good job of holding off the boys but Meegan Lord of Dracut MA came along and caught the front trio. It took Lord just a lap or two to slice through the field and capture the top spot. Lord drove on to the win while Morin finished second and Dombroski was third. Chaput was fourth and Kris Schroeder of Haverhill MA was fifth. Morin won the heat race.

Seth Stickney of Kingston NH won the Roadrunner feature. Stickney was racing four nights earlier at Star Speedway when his engine expired. Stickney and his crew thrashed for a few nights in the garage building a new engine and installing it in his VW Scirocco and it paid off big for them. Tim Higginbotham of Taunton MA ran his best race of the year and finished second. Todd Henshaw of Rehoboth MA was third followed by Erica Page of Raymond NH and Nick Fissette of Pelham NH Stickney and Joe Holden won the heat races.

Chad Wendell of Derry NH won the Rookie Stock feature. Wendell started seventh and quickly made his way up to second. Roger Tanguay Sr. of Lowell MA was leading with Wendell not far behind him when Tanguay Sr. spun coming off turn four handing the lead to Wendell. Wendell was followed over the finish line by Billy Clement Jr. of Manchester NH, John Morin Jr. of Nashua NH, Jason Ryan of Prescott MA and PJ Murphy of Groveland MA.

David Piper of Goffstown NH won the Spectator Drags. Michael Coombs of Lowell MA won the Spectator Race. Buddy Wilkins of Dracut MA and Scotty Duval of Manchester NH had an epic battle for first place in the Flagpole Race with Wilkins coming out on top.
