REID, YOU HAD A BUSY NIGHT AT STAR SPEEDWAY.
The Legend was super-fast all night. I kind of got moved out of a win a couple times there, but it was just racing. In the Pro Stock, it was fast and I was saving tires, and then after a couple of laps, we lost radio communication and had to battle that throughout the race.
There’s no way to tell there how good we would have been.
IS THAT WHY YOU PITTED A COUPLE OF TIMES, TO FIX THE RADIO OR TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS TO THE CAR?
A little bit of both, actually. It was really, really loose in and out of the corner. We fixed the radio once, but then it did the same thing again.
There’s nothing we can do about that except come back next time a little more prepared.
ARE YOU ENCOURAGED BY THE GOOD RESULTS TODAY WITH SO MUCH GOING ON?
It’s a little frustrating in the Pro Stock, knowing how much faster the car is. We missed the setup a little bit today. Throughout practice, we were really fast, and I think everybody knows that.
I’m not disappointed with eighth at all.
