Hudson NH- Hudson Speedway concluded its 65th consecutive racing season on Sunday October 14th. Racing got started late after an hour and half rain delay but with the help of drivers and spectators driving around the wet oval in race cars and personal vehicles the track was dried quickly.

The first feature to race was the B and L Used Auto Parts Thunder Lights. Max Chaput of Nashua NH led the first half of the feature while Nick Dombroski of Derry NH and Andrew Morin of Nashua NH were closing in on him. Dombroski got to Chaput first and took to the outside lane. Dombroski spent four laps on the outside of Chaput finally getting by him with two laps to go. Dombroski held on to the lead till the end of the race. Chaput had a career best second place finish followed by Morin, Kris Schroeder and Jarrod Howard. Chaput won the heat.

Andrew Morin is the 2012 B and L Used Auto Parts Thunder Lights points Champion.

Seth Stickney of Stratham NH made his fourth appearance in the Roadrunners and left with his third winners feature winners trophy. Stickney started deep in the nineteen car field and charged forward to the lead by the midway point. Stickney was untouchable after he took the lead and cruised to victory. Following Stickney were Jarrod Soucy of Marlboro MA, Jen Lord of Lowell MA, Doug Dawkins of Haverhill MA and “Hammerdown” Henshaw of Raynham MA. Stickney and Meegan Lord won the heats.

Todd “Hammerdown” Henshaw won the 2012 Roadrunner Championship. Henshaw won the title with consistency, with just one win but a bunch of top fives.

Jason Ryan of Salem NH picked up his second Rookie Stock win of the season. It wasn’t easy for Ryan as he had Heath Tourtellotte of Ware NH on his bumper the last half of the race. Tourtellotte had to settle for second followed by Jerry Lepage of Nashua NH, John Morin Jr. of Nashua NH and Dan Murphy Jr of Pepperell MA. Ryan and Scotty Duval won the heats.

Jerry Lepage won the 2012 Rookie Stock Championship. Lepage has made steady progress in his four years of racing placing 8th in his first year, 5th in his second year, 3rd in his third year and now is at the top of the Rookie Stocks.
Bruce Harrison of Hudson NH won the New England V-6 Modified main. Bill Mattatell was running his best race of the year leading the first half of the race before Harrison took over the top spot. Allan Mann placed second followed by Allan Reiser of North Brookfield MA, Eric Vilandre of New Bedford MA and Lenard Johnson of Millis MA.

Allan Reiser is the 2012 New England V-6 Modified champion. Resier won a close championship battle with Allan Mann that came down to the last lap.
Bob Murphy won the Grand Enduro. Josh Adie of Dracut MA won the 4 Cyl. Enduro.
