Coming off a successful inaugural season, the Granite State Pro Stock Series continues to grow into their second season, announcing two awards that will be given out at each event.
The first award will be the Ricky’s Real Racer Award, which will award the driver that improves his position the most from the start to finish $150. This award is in memory of Ricky Miller, who passed in October of 2004. Ricky was best known as a “Racers Racer”.
“We wanted to do something in Ricky’s memory,” his dad, Donnie Miller said. “Ricky was never a points racer. He was a driver that did everything he could to get to the front.” While not a points racer, Ricky will be forever known as the final track champion at the now defunct Riverside Park Speedway.
In addition to the $150 per race, the driver with the most cars passed over the course of the season will earn $1,500.00, with a chance to double that to $3,000.
Also coming on board for the upcoming season is Performance Unlimited of NH in Seabrook, who will present the Performance Unlimited Halfway Leader Bonus, offering a $100.00 gift certificate to the leader at the halfway of each race on the 2013 schedule.
Performance Unlimited is your southern NH hot spot specializing in race car parts, on and off road truck parts and street and strip upgrades.
