Stafford Motor Speedway has announced that Town Fair Tire has signed on to become the title sponsor of the June 20 Valenti Modified Racing Series event. The 2014 season will mark the 16th consecutive season that Town Fair Tire has been an advertising partner at the famed Connecticut half-mile track.
Prior to their sponsorship of this year’s Town Fair Tire VMRS 80, Town Fair Tire has served in wide variety of sponsorship options at Stafford. Town Fair Tire started out in 1999 as a PitStopper Magazine and Billboard advertiser, and since then they have stepped up their participation to become the title sponsors of Town Fair Tire Summer Heat, the August NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event, Town Fair Tire Summer Blast-Off, and last season the sponsor of Town Fair Tire Military Appreciation Night.
A good source revealed that NASCAR and Daytona International Speedway have received 21 entries for the Battle at the Beach at Daytona and the race will only start 24 Whelen Modified and Whelen South Modifieds. It’s expected that they will be enough to fill the field by race day which is February 17.
