Roger Turbush wins at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park

Roger Turbush drove away from the pack and took the first checkered flag of the season in the Mr. Rooter New England Truck Series. It was the second consecutive Icebreaker victory for Turbush at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. He faced stiff competition from Erin Solomito and Frank Dumicich Jr. at the front of the field, but took the lead for good after a cut tire ended Dumicich’s day in the turn 4 wall. Solomito would finish second, followed by Ed Pueleo, Bert Ouellette, and Frank Dumicich Sr.

Defending series champion Andy Lindeman suffered ignition problems while in the top 5, and was relegated to an 11th place finish. Rookie contender Josh Stringer battled a loose condition all day but scored a top 10 in his second start in the series.

The Mr. Rooter New England Truck Series returns to action in two weeks as part of the Spring Sizzler at Stafford Motor Speedway on April 25th. For more information on the Mr. Rooter New England Truck Series, visit www.mrrootertruckseries.com or www.facebook.com/newenglandtruckseries
