gsdfsdgs(Antigonish, NS- July 18, 2015) – Kent Vincent (Crapaud, PE) returned to victory lane in front of a capacity crowd at the IWK 250 presented by Steve Lewis Auto Body at Riverside International Speedway Saturday night. Vincent took the lead on Lap 230 from Exide Batteries Rookie DJ Casey (Prospect, NS) who had his best career finish of second in the biggest show of the season. Robbie MacEwen (Sherwood, PE) also took home his best career finish of third. Jeff Fultz (Troutman, CA) and George Koszkulics (New Glasgow, NS) completed the top five.

Dartmouth Dodge Heat races were won by Fultz and Koszkulics. DJ Casey captured the Exide Batteries Rookie of the Race. Donald Chisholm took home Atlantic Tiltload Time Trials with a blistering lap of 14.201. Greg Proude (Springvale, PE) sat on the pole for the main event after winning the King Fright Dash for Cash. A mechanical issue took the 29 team out of contention on Lap Five.

Reigning NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Champion Matt Crafton (Tulare, CA) had mechanical issues and finished 21st in the 28 car field. We wish Matt good luck in his defense of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Prior to the main event fans had a chance to witness the unveiling of the John W. Chisholm Memorial Cup, announced a few weeks ago as the new perpetual trophy for the IWK 250. The Cup is named for the late John W. Chisholm, founder and builder of Riverside International Speedway; Mr. Chisholm passed away July 4, 2014, just two weeks prior to the IWK 250, which was dedicated to his memory. Members of the Chisholm family, along with several ‘250’ champions, were on hand for the unveiling.
