00 Kruczek Beech RidgeNAPLES, ME (July 9) – Following a history making weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) AIM Recycling Super Late Models Pres. By Kenny U-Pull now shift their focus to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, ME for another weekend of exciting short track action. And for the first time this season, someone other than Mike Rowe will be atop the series points standings. Defending PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Model champion DJ Shaw will be on top of the championship when the green flag waves for the Southern Maine Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep 150 this Saturday night.

While Rowe has more wins this season in PASS than any other driver with three, Shaw has stepped up his game in recent weeks with several strong runs in his home state of New Hampshire. Scoring a win at Lee USA Speedway and a fourth place finish at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Shaw has been able to erase a deficit to Rowe and now leads the PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Model points race by four over Rowe heading to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway this Saturday night.

But, for Rowe, the racing gods could not have done him a bigger favor than to have Beech Ridge next up on the schedule. Mike Rowe is a former track champion at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway and has scored numerous PASS wins at the 1/3 mile speedway over his illustrious career.

But Shaw and Rowe will not be alone in trying to capture a win at “The Ridge” this Saturday night. Berwick, ME’s Joey Doiron sits third in points and is a former PASS winner at Beech Ridge. Perhaps more importantly for this weekend’s race, Doiron captured the checkered flag in Beech Ridge Motor Speedway’s local Pro Series back on June 27th. Another driver hoping to gain ground in the points race this weekend is Newmarket, NH’s Bryan Kruczek. Kruczek captured his first career PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Model checkered flag at Beech Ridge back in May and is hoping to move up from sixth in points.

A great field of PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Models Presented By Kenny U-Pull history is expected on Saturday night for the Southern Maine Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep 150. Former series champions Cassius Clark and Johnny Clark will each be seeking their first wins of the season and will be joined in the field by former 4-time champ, Ben Rowe. Two-time defending AIM Recycling Oxford 250 Presented By Kenny U-Pull winner Travis Benjamin leads a stout field of drivers from Maine including Brandon Barker, Corey Bubar, Richie Dearborn, Dave Farrington, Jr., Garrett Hall, Reid Lanpher, Scott McDaniel, Kelly Moore, David Oliver, Adam Polvinen, Tony Ricci, Trevor Sanborn, and JT Thurlow. New Hampshire’s Joey Polewarczyk is always a contender when he competes and will be joined in the field by Quebec’s Etienne Cliché.
Action begins this Saturday, July 11 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway with rotating practice from 3 PM to 6:35 PM, followed by qualifying at 7 and then main events for the PASS AIM Recycling Super Late Models, PASS Modifieds, Wildcat and Sport Series.
