The 2016 Upper Valley Car Show at Fireside Inn was overflowing with machines
New Victory Lane sponsor announced for 2016 season
BRADFORD, VT – The kick off to the 2016 racing season was a hugh success with over a full field of
Sabil & Sons DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds on hand for the fans to get up close and personal to along with several DIRTcar Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupes, Laquerre’s Sports USAC DMA Midgets, Mike River’s Automotive Limited Late Models, and the Weglarz Property Service Four Cylinders. Also in attendance was a very strong contingent of the O’Reilly Auto Parts Granite State Mini Sprints as well as some Sprint Cars of New England.
If you wanted to see some of the cars and stars that will be providing some great racing excitement at the Ridge in 2016 at the Fireside Inn W Lebanon NH you needed to get there early to get a good parking space, as the parking lot was overflowing. It was a perfect day for the fans.
Following the car show the cars present were given the opportunity to take to the track for a test and tune session, and get their first feel of the new clay and configuration of the Ridge.
The brown clay proved to be a success and the drivers are anxious to get some competition laps under their belts next Saturday May 7th opening night.
In addition to the new clay, fans will see several improvements have been completed over the winter months and new sponsors joining the winning team at the Ridge.
One of these sponsors is a long standing business of Vermont from Barre VT. Booth Brothers Dairy will be seen as the new victory lane sponsor for the Ridge. “We are truly excited to have this local business on board and look forward to a long relationship with the team at Booth Brothers Dairy.” Said C.V. “Butch” Elms.
The 49th waving of the green at the Ridge is happening on May 7th. The day will start with the car show located in the field between Bradford Mini Mart/NAPA FMS Auto Parts from 10:00 to 1:00. Then there is another round of test and tuning followed by the green at 5:30 pm(ish).
All five of the 99ROCK WFRD weekly racing series regular divisions, Sabil & Sons Sportsman Modifieds, Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes, Laquerre’s Sports USAC DMA Midgets, Mike River’s Automotive Limited Late Models, and the Weglarz Property Service Four Cylinders will be on hand for completion on opening night.
Season passes are available for general admission. Adults is $180.00, Seniors and Teens $150.00.
