Season Finale now set for Saturday, October 6
WINCHESTER, NH — Rain prevailed for the third straight time in the JBH 100 as an unfavorable weather forecast forced officials to postponed the Granite State Pro Stock Series season finale until next Saturday, October 6.
Bobby Cabral of East Kingston, NH carries a 14 point lead over Bobby Baillargeon of Kingston, NH into the championship event. Rich Eaton of Seabrook, NH sits third in the standings 28 points back of Cabral. Barry Gray of Belchertown, MA sits fourth, 30 points back of Cabral. Mike Parks of Walpole, NH sits fifth, 44 points behind the point leader.
The Granite State Pro Stock Series season finale will be held on The Super Saturday Megafest of Motorsports on October 6 at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, NH. Also on the card will be Mudbogs at 11:00am.
The JBH 100, which was originally scheduled for August 4th, will be in memory of late Granite State Pro Stock Series co-founder John Hoyt, who unexpectedly passed away last year.
Super Saturday’s pit gates open at 10:00am, with stock car practice beginning at noon. Monadnock Speedway’s main ticket booth opens at 1:00pm, with school bus rides for kids beginning at 2:30pm. Heat race qualifying will begin at 3:00pm. Admission is $20 for Adults, $10 for Seniors, $5 for Students (13-18), and Children 12 and under are free.
