For The DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds
BRADFORD, VT –The Crate Motor Nationals for the Bond Auto DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds will go green at Bear Ridge Speedway this Saturday evening. The special $1000.00 to win extra distance event, brought to you by Sabil & Sons, is the main attraction.
Up this Saturday is Wells River Savings Bank Night for the ROCK99 Weekly Racing Series. The card will be jam-packed with the weekly Bond Auto Parts DIRTcar Sportsman Modified, Wells River Chevrolet Sportsman Coupe, Laquerre’s Sports Limited Late Model, Weglarz Property Service Fast Four, and KDD NAPA Auto Parts Hornet divisions, plus the USAC Dirt Midget Association and the Granite State Mini Sprints all in competition.
The Kid’s Bike Giveaway, postponed from last Saturday will also take place this week. With about 75 bikes to be given away this event will surely please many of the youngsters in the crowd. Huge thanks go out to all of the generous people who donated for this event and helped organize it.
This event will conclude the 46th consecutive season of competition at Vermont’s only Dirt Track. Admission for Wells River Savings Bank night is still only $10 for adults (age 18-61), $8 for teens (12-17) and seniors (62+), and $2 for children; Visa and MasterCard are accepted. With all the extra activity on tap racing will start an hour earlier than usual at 5:00.
Bear Ridge Speedway is located on Kidder Road in Bradford, VT, just off Exit 16 on Interstate 91.
