New Divisions to Debut at High Banks
Winchester, NH: Mud Season has come and that means the start of racing season is getting closer at the Monadnock Speedway. The management has worked throughout the winter to put together and 2010 Event schedule sure to please everyone.
The Season Opener will be held one week later than years past leaving the opportunity to hold two test and tune sessions. The Season Opener will be held Saturday, May 1st featuring the traditional 100 lap Modified Racing Series Tour. Practice will held on April 17th and April 24th. The test and tune session is open to all competitors (including Touring and Enduros).
The speedway management is very excited to introduce two new divisions to the high banks, the Sportsman Modifieds and Young Gun Youth division. Both division have been well received and it looks to be a very healthy field in the new Sportsman Modified division. The Young Gun youth division is shaping up nicely as the fans will be treated to new young talent as 2nd to 3rd generation drivers take to the track.
The upcoming season will be very busy as many touring divisions will compete including the return of the Whelen Modified Tour in July. Other visiting divisions include Bob Valenti AutoMall,com Modified Racing Series, NEMA, Allison Legacy, New England Race Trucks, Pro 4 Modifieds and more.
