JOEY, ARE YOU ANXIOUS TO GET TO CANAAN AND RACE?

Yeah, I’m anxious to get to Canaan, but I’m anxious to get there because of what we have coming after that with Beech Ridge and Lee, a couple of tracks where I know we can go and run well.

I think Canaan’s a little bit like (the closed) All-Star Speedway, just with longer straightaways and a little tighter turns. It’s smooth, too, but it’s the kind of place where you definitely don’t want to go off the asphalt.

ARE YOU OFF TO A BETTER START THROUGH FOUR RACES THAN YOU EXPECTED?

I’d be feeling better if we had gotten the finish at Speedway 660 that I thought we deserved (before being caught in a wreck). I was adding it up, and that was like a 40-point swing that would have us in the top-5 right now.

Really, though, I’m trying not to think of the points right now. I just want to go out and win a race. It’s been a while for me, and I just want to win again.
