Hudson N.H. – Two time Rookie Stock champion Scotty Duval won his first feature of the 2011 racing
season in the Rookie Stocks at Hudson International Speedway this past Sunday June 26th.

Duval started on the outside pole and got past pole sitter Roger Tangauy in the opening laps.
Duval had a rear bumper full of Corrie Merritt for most of the race and held off multiple challenges from
Merritt. A caution with three laps remaining tightened the field for a restart. After the restart Duval
retained the lead and Jerry Lepage got by Merritt and knocked on Duvals bumper but wasn’t able to
make a pass and had to settle for second place. Third through tenth were Merritt, Bill Heliwell, John
Morin Jr., Dave Heliwell, Dan Murphy Jr., Charles Roberto, Roger Tanguay and Mike Mchugh. Bill
Heliwell and Merritt won the heats. Slika Ennis finished last in the feature.

Jarrod Soucy won his second Thunder Lite Main of the season. Carlos Esquivel led the first lap of
the feature until Meegan Lord took the lead. Soucy chased down Lord and caught Lord within a few laps
and took to the outside groove to try a pass. Soucy spent much of the first half of the race outside of
Lord which allowed Chad Wendell to catch the top two and joined in the battle. Soucy finally cleared
Lord after the halfway point. Wendell also got past Lord to finish second. Lord finished third. Esquivel
finished fourth followed by Scott Dombrowski in fifth. Soucy also won the heat.

Fourteen year old Derek Griffith of Hudson N.H. won his first ever Outlaw Sportsmen feature.
Griffith took the lead early in the race and by the halfway point had a half lap lead. Geoff Rollins started
in the back of the field and by the time he made it to second place, Griffith’s lead was too much to
overcome. The race was caution free. Following Griffith and Rollins were Ricky Woodside Jr., Ron Lord
Jr., Dean Wendell, Matt Robinson, Stan Maki, Todd Warren, Todd Bregy and Kevin Aberle. Woodside Jr.
and Rollins won the heats.

Nick Fisette won his first ever Roadrunner feature. Fisette started mid-pack and quickly moved
to the top spot. Jason Carroll started right behind Fisette and slid into second about the same time as
Fisette got into first. Fisette had to slice through lapped traffic but was able to keep Carroll at bay in the
caution free race. Following Fisette and Carroll were Jef James, Johnny Reefer, Jen Lord, Leon Keniston,
Erica Page, Robert Rund, Kevin Dunklee and Davi Cruz. Keniston and Fisette won the heats.

Mike Richards won the Spectator Drags. Dan Gill won the Spectator Race. Paul Gangi won the
Flagpole Race.

Next Sunday at Hudson Speedway the Classic Lites make their first appearance of 2011. Also on
Sunday we have the N.E. V-6 Modifieds, Enduros, Rookies, Roadrunners, Thunder Lights, Spectator Race,
Spectator Drags and the Flagpole Race. Gates open at 4pm-Hot Laps at 5pm and the first race is at 6pm.
