Hudson N.H. – Hudson International Speedway held a double feature night for all three of its regular divisions this past Sunday, July 31st.

John Morin Jr. had the best night winning both Rookie Stock features. Morin Jr. extended his points lead with his third and fourth wins of the season. Morin Jr. started deep in both fields and was methodical in slicing through slower cars on his way to both victories. Also in the top five after Morin Jr. in the first feature were Dave Helliwell, Jerry Lepage, Bob Riopelle and Dan Murphy Jr. In the top five in the second feature after Morin Jr. were Corrie Merritt, Helliwell, Billy Clement Jr. and Murphy Jr.

Jason Carroll won the first Roadrunner feature. Matt Lombard and Jen Lord battled for the lead for the first half of the race but Carroll made it by both to post his fifth feature win of the season. Also in the top five after Carroll were Lombard, Tom Lord, Todd “Hammerdown” Henshaw and Erica Page.

Billy Osbourne made a rare appearance at Hudson and outran Carroll to pickup the win in the second Roadrunner feature. Also in the top five after Osbourne were Carroll, Myles Devits, Jef James and Matt Lombard.

Thunder Lights points leader Jarrod Soucy picked up his fifth win of 2011 in the first feature. Also in the top five after Soucy were Justin Beecher, Nick Bombrowski, Chad Wendell and Meegan Lord.

Beecher won the second Thunder Light feature followed by Lord, Soucy, Wendell and Carlos Esquivel.

Keith Caruso won the New England V-6 Modified feature. Caruso took the lead on the first lap and never trailed. Allan Rieser Jr. ran second for most of the race and was slowly closing in on Caruso as the checkers fell and had to settle for second place. Following Rieser Jr. across the finish line were Wayne Brooks Jr. William Wallace, Eric Vilandre and Louie Maher.

Andrew Hall won both the Spectator race and the Spectator Drags. Buddy Wilkins won the Flagpole race.
