Early in the feature race for the Classic Lites at Star Speedway, the 00 and the 74 car make wheel-to-wheel contact, causing the 00 to slide sideways and flip over before doing a pirouette on the rear bumper and crashing down on the ground. The driver walked away from the crash under his own power.
