CHARLOTTE, NC – Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced today the creation of an exciting new program aimed at giving short track racers across the country a chance at racing in one of the sport’s most legendary events. In 2012, PASS will sanction the revitalized All-American 400 at the Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, TN. “The Road To The All-American 400” will give racers in other major events around the country a chance at racing at Nashville in October. Races that are currently part of the “Road To The All-American 400” include: the Apple Blossom 200 on May 5th at Wenatchee Valley’s Super Oval in Washington state, the Spears SRL Southwest Tour event on May 12th at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Nevada, the PASS South Firecracker 150 at Anderson Motor Speedway in South Carolina on July 3rd, and the Coors Light Montana 200 at Montana Raceway Park on July 21st. Two additional qualifiers are currently under negotiation and could be added at a later date. Winners at these select qualifying events will be automatic qualifiers for the All-American 400. However, they will have 14 days to file their entry with PASS and pay their entry fee. Also, that driver has to exhaust every means necessary to qualify for the race (time trials, heat race, consolation race, etc). After they’ve exhausted all means, if they have still not gotten into the race, that’s when they will be eligible to fall back on their guaranteed spot.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway’s SK Light Modified
division will welcome several new drivers to its ranks this season. While
most of the newcomers are young drivers who have worked their way through
the karting ranks, there is one new face to the SK Light division this
season that bucks that trend. Scott Bouley, a 15-year veteran of the K & N
Pro East Series (formerly Busch North Series), will join the SK Light
division, where he will try to put his #26 into CARQUEST Victory Lane and
dance on his roof for the first time since he danced on his roof following a
ProStock feature victory in the 2000 CARQUEST Tech-Net Spring Sizzler.
“We’re going to show up and put the petal to the metal and give it our all,”
said Bouley. “I haven’t danced on the roof since we won at the Sizzler 12
years ago, so it’s been too long. I shopped around last year to see where I
wanted to go racing and Stafford is the best track around, it’s a real class
facility. We’re really excited about the car and I’ll definitely be dancing
on the roof if we can win again.”

Canaan, NH. — NEMA midget hot shoe Anthony Nocella, of Woburn, MA.,
knows a thing or two about open-wheel race cars. He has enjoyed success
and lots of it in go-karts, mini-sprints, and the two NEMA sanctioned midget
divisions.
When the Valenti Modified Racing Series opens it’s ninth season March 31, and
April 1, at Connecticut’s Waterford Speedbowl, at the annual Budweiser
Blastoff Weekend, Nocella will give the ground-pounding open-wheel modifieds
a shot, thanks to car-owner Kevin Stuart, of Lowell, MA.
