BARRE, Vt. – Austin Theriault of Fort Kent, Maine, continued his recent hot streak on the ACT Late Model Tour, finishing fifth in the Bond Auto Labor Day Classic 200 at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in Barre, Vt., on Sunday, September 4. Theriault has posted Top-5 finishes in five consecutive starts dating back to late July. After winning his heat race, Theriault’s car was found too low in technical inspection and sent to the back of the consolation race. Theriault battled from the back of the consolation and B-Feature to earn the 25th starting position. The fifth-place finish marks Theriault’s best career finish at Thunder Road International Speedbowl. (more…)
