Waterbury, VT – The first trip to New Smyrna Speedway (NSS) in 2011 ended up with 28 very diverse teams. Half the teams were “regular ACT touring teams”, the rest were from various elements of the overall ACT Late Model racing program that covers a wide area of the Northeastern US, and Provinces of Quebec and Ontario.

DEARBORN, Mich., January 7, 2015 — When Wood Brothers Racing picked Ryan Blaney in August as the new driver for the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion, they knew they were getting a young driver with NASCAR race wins and championships already on his resume. The rest of the package arrived with the Christmastime announcement that Jeremy Bullins, a young crew chief with championship credentials of his own, would be lead the way for the iconic No. 21.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—In the short 9 year life span of Stafford’s SK Light Modified division, the track championship has been won three times by a rookie driver. The 2015 season could see a fourth rookie champion in 10 years. Acton, MA native Matt Swanson will look to join Michael Gervais, Jr., Matt Galko, and Jeremy Sorel as rookie champions when he makes his Stafford SK Light debut at the April 24-26 NAPA Spring Sizzler. Swanson is making the move to Stafford after winning the Modified track championship at Star Speedway as a 14-year old this past season.

DETROIT (Jan. 6, 2015) – Chevrolet heads into the second season of the TUDOR United SportsCar Championship with a strong lineup of Corvette Daytona Prototypes that are aiming to deliver a fourth consecutive Engine Manufacturer title in North American sports car racing. Five Corvette DPs from three entrants will open the season at the 53rd Rolex 24 At Daytona on Jan. 24-25, and four will contest the full 10-race TUDOR Championship.
