The three-time postponed Fall Brawl at Riverside Speedway in Groveton, N.H. finally took the green flag on a 25 degree day with Eddie Mac dominating most of the way to secure the win in Team Peterson’s final race of the season. The scheduled event for the $5,000 win was 200 laps but was shortened to 150 laps for a $3,000 win.
INDIANAPOLIS, Monday, Nov. 10, 2014 — Hulman & Company Chief Executive Officer Mark Miles announced today that Cindy Lucchese has joined the company as chief administrative officer and chief financial officer.
Lucchese will be responsible for the company’s administrative functions, which include financial services, information technology and human resources, and will lead the firm’s strategic planning function. She will report directly to Miles and serve on the company’s executive leadership team.
Danica Patrick came back from a lap down and survived an accident not of her making to finish a respectable 22nd in Sunday’s Phoenix 500k NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.
Patrick, driver of the No. 10 GoDaddy Chevrolet for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), started 32nd but soon worked her way into the top-20.
AVONDALE, Ariz. (Nov. 9, 2014) – Kevin Harvick dominated the Quicken Loans Race for Heroes 500 at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) and collected his fourth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) win of the season. It was the 13th time that Team Chevy captured the top two finishing positions this year. Harvick’s win also marks the 19th victory for Chevrolet in 2014.
In dominating fashion, Harvick led 264 of the 312-lap race to earn back-to-back wins at PIR for the second time in his NSCS career. He also swept the races at the 1.0-mile track in 2006. The victory advances the driver of the No. 4 Chevrolet SS to the ‘Championship’ round of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup in the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

VONDALE, Ariz. (Nov. 9, 2014) – Martin Truex Jr. came home with a 12th-place finish in Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series race at Phoenix International Raceway. But the Furniture Row Racing driver felt the final result could have been much better had it not been for an incident on Lap 213 of 312.
While running in the top-five, Truex’s left-rear fender took a hit by the No. 18 car (Kyle Busch) during a restart at the 1-mile oval. The accident brought out the yellow flag first and then a red flag. The damage forced Truex to make an unscheduled pit stop during the caution. The end result was Truex dropping 13 positions to 18th.
