Eddie MacDonald Wins 52nd Milk Bowl at Thunder Road

akjsfasfBarre, VT – The “Outlaw” Eddie MacDonald of Rowley, Massachusetts held off two-time and defending Thunder Road Track Champion Derrick O’Donnell to claim the victory in the 52nd running of the People’s United Bank Milk Bowl at Barre’s Thunder Road on Sunday, October 12. MacDonald put together a combined overall score of 14 points in the three-segment event to become the first winner from outside of Vermont since 2010.

Eddie MacDonald Kisses the Cow at Thunder Road

dkfasjf;aSince teaming up, Eddie Macdonald and Rollie LaChance have recorded impressive wins together in the American Canadian Tour and the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. On Sunday the duo added the famed People’s United Bank Milk Bowl trophy held at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road International Speedbowl to their list of accomplishments that include two Oxford 250 wins and three ACT Invitational wins at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Billed as the toughest short track race in America, Eddie Mac, crew chief Rollie LaChance and the dedicated crew set the tone early with a win in the first of the three 50 lap segments for the ACT final race of the season and the 52nd running of the event.

Savary Scores Fourth Win At Lee Oktoberfest

vmrslogo1Lee, NH. — Richard Savary, of Canton, Massachusetts, scored his fourth win of the season Sunday afternoon winning the 100-lap Valenti Modified Racing Series ‘Oktoberfest 100’ at Lee USA Speedway, Lee, New Hampshire.

Savary’s victory was his second this season. He won a 100-lap event at Lee on June 27. Savary ties Andy Seuss with 5 career wins.

Chase Dowling Wins SPAFCO SK Modified® Rookie of the Year Honors at Stafford Motor Speedway

fghdfhdfh(Stafford Springs, CT)—In his first two seasons of modified competition at Stafford Motor Speedway, Roxbury, CT native Chase Dowling has proven to not only be a very talented driver, but a quick study behind the wheel. Dowling won his very first SK Light Modified start last season and he nearly won the championship as a rookie, finishing second by only 4 points. Dowling made the move into the premier SK Modified® division at Stafford this season, and it only took him four races to put his #57 S+S Asphalt Paving / Dunleavy Truck & Trailer Repair Chevy into NAPA Victory Lane.
