Starting on the point TC Forward gave up the lead on lap two, to hard charging Josh Currier. Currier held off the return challenges of Forward only relinquishing it once on lap 21. He regained the lead and looked more than poised to claim his first win as he held on until lap 37. Unfortunately from the seventeenth starting position, Jason Gray had been methodically working his way to the front of the pack, with a mere three laps to go he gained the lead and went on to win the forty lap main event his first of the season. Currier held on for second, and the young gun Jordan Fornwalt silently worked his way from mid pack to grab the final victory lane spot. Adam Pierson and Robert Tucker rounded out the top five.
