ACT Heavyweights Helliwell, Pole Head to Airborne for International

dfgvbWaterbury, VT – The third running of the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) International 500 on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 at Plattsburgh, NY’s Airborne Park Speedway promises to be one of the most star-studded stock car racing events of the 2015 season. Numerous former Champions have entered either or both of the twin 200-lap, $10,000-to-win events for the ACT Late Models and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models at the 1/2-mile oval, including two former ACT Tour Champions locked in a battle royale for this season’s title.

JASON TRUNDY TAKES ROADRUNNER FEATURE AT 95

dfsdvsAfter stopping Sam Betts’ 3 race win streak last week, Jason Trundy of Winterport has started a streak of his own as he made it two in a row in the Wednesday night RoadRunners at Speedway 95. Trundy started 26th in the 43 car starting field for the 20 lap feature and steadily worked his way through the pack. With the help of three red flags stopping the action, Trundy took the lead on lap 15, and held it through two more red flags in the final five laps, winning two drag race restarts with Sam Betts of Bradley. Betts finished in second, with Andrew Cossette of Eddington finishing in third. Fourth went to Rick Gomm of Dixmont with Trey Brown of Winterport finishing fifth.

Truex Jr. Seeking Another Highlight in Granite State

dasrfsdfsdDENVER, Colo. (July 14, 2015) – The highlight that probably stands out most for Martin Truex Jr. at New Hampshire Motor Speedway took place when he was more than 350 miles from the New England facility.

It was back in 1994 at his home in Mayetta, N.J. when the 15-year-old Truex watched his father – Martin Truex Sr. – win the Busch North Series race at New Hampshire on The Nashville Network.

In each division, the gap between first and second in the standings is just three points, ensuring the intensity remains high as the season nears the halfway mark.
